It Was A Nightmare

My mother was there for about two weeks and during that time she was taken off of meds that she had been on for several years. She was given other meds that made her sick. The Drs. didn't like it when we questioned this decision. We were told that they knew what they were doing & that drs. don't like to be told what to do. The nurses took hours to clean my moms soiled diaper. On several occassions they almost gave her wrong meds except we were there & questioned what they were giving her. They almost took blood pressure & blood from arm with dialysis graft-except we were there to remind them not to do that. When she needed help it took them several hours before they came to her room. Be careful when you leave your loved one at this place. Be sure you check in on them as much as possible. The Dr. in charge of her stopped coming into her room & would just read her chart & relay messages through the nurses because the dr. got upset when we would ask questions about our mother. It was absolutely unproffessional the way the doctor was acting. They should've been more open to us asking questions. They should screen the people they hire more carefully.
