The Witte Museum chronicles the history and natural science of south Texas, boasting exhibits displaying dinosaur skeletons to mummies to log cabins to scientific phenomenon. It lies along the San Antonio River, in Brackenridge, just north of the downtown area. Its changing galleries display work by Texas artists and host both locally produced and traveling national exhibits.
